The Challenge

Turning Search Visibility into Appointments

The clinics' organic visibility wasn't translating into enough new-patient enquiries. Branded demand was relatively flat, and important service pages were struggling to appear prominently for local treatment searches.

At the start of the engagement, important treatment pages were sitting well beyond the first page of Google. The priority was to reach people actively searching for treatment and make it easier to book.

The Strategy

What Made the Difference

01

Make Service Pages Work Harder

Rewrote priority treatment pages with clearer above-the-fold content, answers to common patient questions, more useful FAQs, links to the right clinic locations and specific calls to action instead of generic booking buttons.

02

Fix the SEO Foundations

Refined titles, headings and internal links, corrected site-wide heading and schema issues, cleared out duplicate and test pages, and improved the structure of key local service content.

03

Earn Authority with Original Research

Created Cosmetic Dentistry and US Oral Health statistics resources to attract editorial coverage and authoritative links. Together, the two pages earned links from 43 websites, including AOL.

What Changed

Commercial Pages Started Moving Up.

Rather than chasing traffic for its own sake, the work focused on treatments patients were already looking for. Several important pages made substantial gains over the reporting period.

01 / TOOTH EXTRACTION +68%

Improvement in Average Ranking Position

Moved from page four to the edge of Google's first page.

02 / TEETH CLEANING +63%

Improvement in Average Ranking Position

Moved from page five to page two following service-page improvements and stronger local relevance.

03 / EMERGENCY DENTAL +48%

Improvement in Average Ranking Position

Moved from page three to page two, with several relevant local searches reaching the top ten.

More Enquiries from Less Traffic.

In the year-on-year comparison, Google organic clicks fell 11%, while branded search clicks rose just 9%. Yet organic new-patient leads increased 50% on the conservative reporting basis, and leads per 100 Google clicks rose 68%.

It shows the value of improving the pages and journeys that turn searches into enquiries, not simply generating more visits. The next opportunity is to push those newly competitive service pages onto Google's first page and protect the gains during a planned website launch.
