SEO Manager
Minty is growing, and we’re looking for an SEO Manager who wants to help shape what “great SEO” looks like at a modern agency.
The Role
The goal is to create a management approach that allows the SEO team to operate independently, whilst ensuring consistency without micromanagement.
A key focus of the role will be to help systemise our core SEO services, making delivery scalable and efficient, while also maintaining the ability to offer premium, bespoke solutions for larger clients.
You’ll be responsible for continuously improving Minty’s SEO offering, keeping us ahead of competitors and at the forefront of the evolving AI search landscape.
We value proactive planning and accountability. That means staying one step ahead of client implementation issues, identifying roadblocks early, and ensuring progress doesn’t stall.
Above all, we’re looking for someone thoughtful and collaborative, and able to challenge both team and leadership constructively and lead with impact.
Core Responsibilities
- Owning and leading Minty’s SEO/GEO service line.
- Developing and delivering organic growth strategies for clients.
- Acting as the lead point of contact on client accounts (calls, presentations, reporting).
- Assisting in scoping and pitching new projects alongside the sales team.
- Producing and reviewing Content, Technical, and Link Gap Audits.
- Where required, supporting with implementation of client work.
- Delegating tasks across internal team members and third-party suppliers.
- Overseeing data reports in Looker Studio (Google Data Studio).
- Supporting Minty’s own organic search strategy
- Evolving the SEO service to include new features (AI Search, LLM optimisation, etc.).
- Being the first point of client contact to ensure issues or concerns are resolved
Managerial Responsibilities
- Line management of SEO team members (current and future).
- Hiring, training, mentoring, and developing the SEO team.
- Accountability for SEO service profitability and efficiency.
- Reporting directly to the CEO on performance, growth, and service innovation.

- Proactively scanning for new opportunities (AI Search features, new tools, PR/Content synergies).
- Sharing insights and leading on innovation, not just following SOPs.
- Caring about measurable results: rankings, visibility, ROI, and client satisfaction.
- Celebrating wins and communicating them clearly, while being honest about gaps.
