Minty WIN a UK search award for Best Use of Data π
Last night, some of the team headed to the Bloomsbury Big Top in London for the UK Search Awards. Not to blow our own trumpet, (weβre definitely blowing our own trumpet, sorry not sorry) but we actually won the prize for Best Use of Data for our iVisa campaign, which documented the happiest cities in the world to visit.
The campaign was based on an index we built that looked at 5 core happiness factors: the cost of living, the friendliest locals, sunshine hours, working hours and life expectancy. We then gathered numerical data on each of these categories and used it to rank each of the 50 chosen cities from the highest (happiest) to the lowest (unhappiest).
The campaign went viral and was a huge success. Here are some quick stats of how well it did, including:
116 pieces of coverage across 8 countries
96 links secured with an average of DR48
2.54 million views
43.1k engagements across social channels
Links secured with DR of 94
Not only was it such a treat to be in a beautiful venue, win an award and spend time together, but it was also really nice to meet up with others who work remotely with us away from the Spanish team, as we donβt always get the opportunity to physically meet up on the reg.
