SEO Executive
Minty is growing, and we’re looking for an SEO Executive who wants to help shape what “great SEO” looks like at a modern agency.
Location: UK/Remote | Contract: UK | Reports to: Head of SEO | Progression: Organic Search Strategist
The Role
We’re hiring an ambitious SEO Executive to join our team full-time. This is a role designed with rapid progression in mind: we’re looking for someone with a couple of years of experience who wants to grow into an Organic Search Strategist.
This role is suitable for someone who understands SEO deeply, but is also exposed to Digital PR and the emerging world of AI search (GEO) from day one.
You’ll own SEO delivery for a portfolio of clients, work hand-in-hand with our Digital PR team, and help us shape how Minty shows up across both classic SERPs and AI answer engines.
Core Responsibilities
- Keyword research, search intent mapping and topic clustering
- Preparing content research, briefs and editorial guidelines for writers
- On-site and on-page optimisation across new and existing pages
- Technical SEO audits and supporting implementation with dev teams
- Traditional link building and collaborating with Digital PR efforts
- Content, technical and link gap audits
- Competitor SEO research and SERP analysis
- Supporting the development of SEO strategies and roadmaps
- Supporting the sales team in scoping new projects
Working alongside
Digital PR
We see SEO and Digital PR as two halves of the same organic search picture.
You’ll work closely with our Digital PR team to make sure earned media drives real organic performance.
Specifically you will:
- Support PR campaigns with SEO insight pages and topics that genuinely need authority
- Quality-check links earned through outreach (anchor text, relevance, page placement)
- Help shape creative campaigns so they earn coverage and deliver SEO value, not just coverage
- Translate PR wins into measurable organic performance for clients
Understanding of
GEO and AI Research
Organic search is changing fast. AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot are now part of how people discover brands, and we’re investing heavily in Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
We want someone genuinely curious about this space and willing to learn how to:
- Track and improve brand visibility across AI answer engines
- Optimise content, entities and structured data so LLMs cite our clients
- Understand how Digital PR mentions feed the brand authority signals LLMs rely on
- Spot the differences (and overlaps) between ranking in Google and being cited in ChatGPT
We don’t expect you to be an expert here on day one but we expect you to be interested, opinionated, and willing to grow with us as this space develops.
Beneficial Experience
- 2+ years agency experience
- Confident with Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog/Sitebulb, Google Search Console and GA4
- Excellent knowledge of working with spreadsheets
- High level of written English (Spanish a bonus)
- Self-motivated and keen to deliver results
- Strong organisational skills and comfortable juggling multiple clients
- Not afraid to make suggestions or comment on how our processes and operations can be improved
- A genuine interest in Digital PR, content marketing and AI search
